Our Staff Members include certified teachers and undergraduate and graduate students pursuing degrees in fields such as Early Childhood Education, Elementary and Secondary Education, or Physical Education. All staff members are selected based on their experience and enthusiasm for working with children.
Experienced Activity Specialists lead each group on an age appropriate exploration of the camp's activities including Sports, DIY, Use Your Noodle, and Creative Corner. Learning and play go hand-in-hand as campers play sports, learn fun facts, build high-tech paper airplanes and catch up on their math skills
Dedicated camp counselors guide your children in age connected groups through the day’s activities - and join in the fun along the way. The majority of our camp counselors are entering their senior year of high school or college level students.
All employees of Providence Summer Camp participate in pre-camp training, have all background clearances from Pennsylvania and are certified in First Aid.
Before and After-Camp CARES allow your children to safely replay the events of the day, with supervised group activities such as drawing, playing with Legos, quiet time, watching a movie, or playing games.
